Dr. Chulso Moon, founder and CEO of Cangen, most recently held the
position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Oncology, Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is an experienced principal investigator, attending physician, and member of multiple multidisciplinary treatment programs. Dr. Moon received his MD from Seoul National University, School of Medicine; his Ph.D. in human genetics and molecular biology from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD; completed a combined residency in internal medicine as a short track from Pitt County Memorial Hospital, University of North Carolina Systems and MD Anderson Cancer Center, Division of Medicine, Houston, TX; completed a medical oncology and hematology fellowship-clinical training in MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX; and served as co-principal investigator of ONXY-015 gene therapy program for advanced head/neck and lung cancer, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX. Dr. Moon holds medical licenses in the United States and in Korea. He is a well respected lecturer and author of numerous academic publications.
